in the items was too powerful and whoever touched them was driven mad

hidden somewhere in both Erie and the Sidhe
Dagwyn then tells the player about a prophetcy which says that one day
someone would find the Medallion of Olum and be able to exist in both
Erie and the Sidhe and be able to wear the armor and yield the sword
and destroy Balor. He then tells the player to search for the pieces
and to bring him proof that Balor's been destroyed. he then tells the
player that there's a chest in the other room with equipment that the
player can use on their quest. He then gives the player a Recall Stone
Which will return the player to Dagwyn's if they need healing . He then
tells the player that the Medallion of Olum will transport them between worlds

and searches for the pieces of the sword and armor the locations.
are marked by a Rune Stone which the player touches to get the piece
